Your documents never leave your browser. We don't see them, store them, or process them. Fredline is designed to be private by architecture, not just by policy.
All document comparison happens entirely in your web browser. No documents, document content, or comparison results are transmitted to our servers or any third party. This is a fundamental architectural decision, not a feature that can be toggled.
If you create an account, we store:
We do not store passwords. Authentication uses magic links or OAuth (Google/Apple).
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data.
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service that:
We collect aggregate page view counts and referral sources. No individual user tracking occurs.
Account data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security. Each user can only access their own data. We retain account data as long as your account is active, plus 30 days after deletion.

Fredline is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
